Cycling in Cupertino - Neighborhood

Glenbrook

Today's plan is to ride around the neighborhood and pick up some grocery. Not a real cycling exercise, but to show you my neighborhood.

First stop Bank of America, do some banking. This is on the corner of the Stevens Creek Blvd and De Anza Blvd. Then onward to the Memorial Park. Next to the park is Glenbrook Apartment. This is the 1st place we stayed when we moved from the east coast. There are pools to cool down in the summer. We had fun then.
The bike lane is separated from the road - see the cars park inbetween! You don't see that in Taiwan. Of course, one can argue that only American has wide open space to spare.
Continued to the North Stelling, you will hit this bridge - bike overpath.
Look closer, it is so nicely done. Underneath is Highway 280.
Now we are eastward on the Homestead Rd. The grocery store Safeway is in this big shopping square. There are rack for you to park your bikes just like in the old western time people park their horses outside the store!
Total 4.9miles. I guess this is too short. Next time, I'll add more. Maybe the Cupertino Market Square and Apple.

Apple old HQ on Infinite Loop

Apple's old HQ on De Anza Blvd is nearby. There is a loop around the office building called Infinite Loop. Total 800m long. In the weekend, there is no car at all except some maintenance crews. Perfect for jogging or biking.

Cupertino Library
Cross the Stevens Creek Blvd on S. Blaney, there is the Cupertino Library. I used to walk, now bike is quicker.
