Technically Parker Ranch is in Saratoga, not Cupertino. But the majority of my ride is still in Cupertino! To plan the trip, just need to decide where you cross the highway. So I took S. Blaney all the way to Prospect Rd, and then west to Parker Ranch (see the map above). This is about over 5K, then the loop on the lower left corner is some climbing and decending (picture below). Total about 3k, very good exercise.
On the way back, I took S Stelling Rd north, passing the Jollyman Park (below). Then McCellan Rd east and back on S Blaney home.

This route avoids the traffic, and there are bike lanes in most parts. The route total 14.5km, 120m total ascent. You can pick up grocery if you want.
