Cycling in Cupertino - Woodland Library

Today, let's explore the neighborhood. Just a sub 20k ride. Homestead Rd all the way west and back.

Before the Highway 85, I saw a big field. It is Cupertino Middle School Athelic Field. After that S Bernardo Ave is a long straight road (below). Perfect place to test ride your bike:)

To get to the other side of the highway, there is this caged overpath. I guess they are afraid people may fall off, so they cage it. And the sign says specifically 'Walk Your Bike", the overpath is for pedestrians.

On Grant Rd, there are many bikers. The bike lane is totally separated from the main road where vehicles piles up during the morning traffic hours. I made my return at Woodland Library. The library opens at 11AM. So it is closed at the time I arrived.

Overall, it is 16.3km. I could have explored more and make it 20k! Somehow I feel it is time to head home.
